EghtesadOnline: Iran Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization will offer non-monetary incentives to investors interested in setting up roadside convenience stores, says director general of Investment and Supervision Department of the organization, Mohammad Reza Shahraki-Sanavi.

Supporting investors when they seek to acquire construction permits and granting them tax exemption (including zero-rate tax for five years since securing permits) are incentives offered by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to encourage investors to channel more funding into the construction of convenience stores, Financial Tribune reported.

“As we speak, every 118 kilometers there is one roadside convenience store that should increase to one per 74 kilometers," the official was quoted as saying by IRNA.
