Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex accounted for 544,115 tons to register a 24% decline year-on-year, while Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Plant accounted for 41,117 tons of the total output, indicating a 12% increase YOY.
The two producers extracted an aggregate of 1.09 million tons of ores in the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2019).
Lead and zinc ore extractions during the month to Oct. 22 amounted to 76,513 tons, down 1% YOY. Angouran's output stood at 70,125 tons, down 3% YOY. Nakhlak extracted 6,388 tons, up 22% YOY, according to Financial Tribune.
