According to Director General of Semnan Customs Administration Ali Sa’doddin, the exports mainly included lead ingots, lye (sodium hydroxide), copper cables, iron profiles, sodium sulfate and tiles, ISNA reported.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Italy, the UK, Austria, Germany and Vietnam were the main export destinations, according to Financial Tribune.
The average value of each ton of exports from Semnan Province stood at $882 over the period under review, up 68% from $520 in the corresponding period of last year.
