Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex accounted for 764,662 tons of the total output to register a 13% year-on-year decline, while Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Plant accounted for 57,243 tons of the total output to mark a 1% increase YOY, Financial Tribune reported.
The two producers extracted an aggregate of 1.09 million tons of ores in the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2019).
Lead and zinc ore extractions during the month to Jan. 20 amounted to 57,176 tons, up 6% YOY. Angouran's output stood at 51,160 tons, up 8% YOY. Nakhlak extracted 6,016 tons, down 10% YOY.
