Tehran Stocks Rise 0.6%

EghtesadOnline: The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 2,908.82 points, or 0.63%, on Saturday to end trading at 461,988.4.

About 6.23 billion shares valued at 39.26 trillion rials ($284.53 million) changed hands for the day, according to Financial Tribune.

Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Bafgh Mining Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 26.32% to 23,989 rials per share. 

Khazar Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.81% to 10,502 rials per share.

MAPNA Group contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Telecommunication Company of Iran, Mellat Bank and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.

Omid Investment Management Group Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Khorasan Steel Company.

 

IFX Up 1.72%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 99.77 points, or 1.72%, to close Sunday trade at 5,915.18.

About 2.45 billion securities valued at 20.94 trillion rials ($151.78 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange market.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 295.97 million of its shares worth 837.01 billion rials ($6.06 million) were traded.

Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Kowsar Insurance Company, Jahrom Power plant Development Company and Esfahan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX. 

Goharzamin Iron Ore Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Marun Petrochemical Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Iran Office Machines Industries Company.
