Exports From Yazd Province Exceed $100m in 4 Months

EghtesadOnline: A total of 860,000 tons of goods worth $103 million were exported from Yazd Province’s customs terminals during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21).

According to Mohammad Reza Alamdar, the head of Yazd Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, the exports mainly included tiles and ceramics, steel products, hydrocarbon cables and wires, pipes and profiles, nylon and plastic bags, pistachio, glass dishes, molybdenum oxide and ferromolybdenum construction glass and floorings.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, the UAE, Azerbaijan, Oman, Armenia, Turkey and the Netherlands were the main export destinations, Shata News Agency reported.

A total of 11,000 tons of goods worth $38 million, including production line machinery, industrial equipment, electric and electronic devices, chemicals, and cellulose and polymer products, were imported into the province during the same period.
