TCCIM to Organize Webinar, Two Courses in February

EghtesadOnline: The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold a webinar on exports to Iraq, in addition to two specialized courses on funds through the capital market and commerce this February.

The webinar titled “Exports to Iraq: Commercial Opportunities and Plans in 2021” is scheduled for Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Topics to be discussed in this event include exports and imports in the global market, investments and production in Iraq, general trade data on the neighboring country, commercial contracts, after-sales services and guarantees, customs affairs and standard issues, holidays in Iraq, banking procedures, Iraqi consumers’ taste, exhibitions in the neighboring country, distribution channels, tenders, direct sales and advertising in Iraq, the news portal of TCCIM reported.  

The first specialized course titled "Ways of Funding Through the Capital Market" is scheduled to run for 8 hours on two consecutive Sundays on Feb. 7 and 14 from 3-7 p.m. Topics to be covered during this course include two major categories of funding via the stock exchange and the debt market. Other topics include listing and initial public offering in Tehran Stock Exchange as well as in Iran Farabourse, how to convert from a private firm to a public one, issuance of different types of debt bond knowhow and different types of bonds. 

The second specialized course titled "Comprehensive Commerce" is scheduled to start on Feb. 18. Classes will be held on Mondays from 4-7 p.m. and Thursdays from 9-12 a.m. Topics to be covered during this course include international commerce overview, HS commodity categorization, incoterms 2020 (world’s essential trade terms), import and export procedures, international transportation, customs regulations Electronic Packing List’s Comprehensive System, order placements, international trade contracts and payments, trade negotiations, opening LCs and key points about LinkedIn.
