TCCIM to Hold Courses on Management, Commerce

EghtesadOnline: The Education and Human Resources Institute (ITECC), affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold six specialized courses on management and trade.

The first course titled “Human Resources Management” is scheduled to begin on Feb. 17 and classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. Topics such as ways of empowering human resources, qualifications of managers, job categorizations, ways of compensating employees’ services and recruitment procedures are to be covered, the news portal of TCCIM reported.  

A second course titled "Training Professional Heads of Office” is scheduled to start on Feb. 17 will run for 12 hours. Classes will be held on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m. Topics to be covered include how to write a resume, making the best impact in a job interview, bureaucratic procedures, administering meetings, time management and computer skills. 

ITECC will also organize a course titled “International Trade” over six sessions (a total of 24 hours). Starting Feb. 21, the classes will be held on Tuesdays. Topics to be covered include order placement from foreign companies; B2B, B2C and B2G negotiation methods for marketing; commercial correspondence; air, road, marine and rail transportation and the required way bills for each; introduction to all kinds of commercial forms and how to fill them out as per the regulations of Iran’s Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade as well as Switzerland Chamber of Commerce and Industries; drafting and signing of international contracts; sales and purchase contracts, financial transaction methods, bank guarantees, Incoterms 2020 (world’s essential terms of trade).

Another course titled "Creating a Marketing Action Plan for Exports Through LinkedIn” is scheduled to begin on Feb 27. It will be held on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays for a total of 10 hours. 

The fifth course titled "Introduction to Latest Customs Regulations and Directives” is scheduled to be held online on Feb. 27. Classes will be held from 4-8 p.m. Topics to be covered include essential customs-related terminology, bank guarantee regulations, how to avoid or reduce demurrage expenses, different kinds of customs exemptions and how to refund import duties.   

And finally a course titled “Introduction to Blockchain and How It Functions in International Commercial Transactions” will be held online for a total of 8 hours. Classes are scheduled for March 1 and March 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Topics to be covered include introduction to blockchain and different kinds of cryptocurrencies, using cryptocurrencies in foreign trade interactions and regulations of using cryptos in different countries.
