TCCIM to Hold Six Business Courses

EghtesadOnline: The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold six specialized business courses.

The first course titled "Comprehensive Business Skills Training" is scheduled to be held from July 31 on Saturdays and Mondays from 4-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include generalities of international trade, HS commodity classification system, Incoterms 2020, LinkedIn, international transport, familiarity with the step-by-step import/export process, customs and EPL regulations, as well as order registration. The course will run for a total of 50 hours, the news portal of TCCIM reported.

The second course titled "Foreign Purchases and Order Management" is scheduled to be held online from August 1 on Sundays and Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include organizing individual and corporate businesses, calculating import duties and taxes, types of imported goods, studying pro forma and its contents, business cards, registering an order on the NTSW site (NTSW.org), choosing the field of activity in the business card based on the type of imported goods, shipping and transfer insurance, payment in the banking system and foreign exchange remittances as well as customs, export and import regulations. 

The third course titled "Instructions and Directives Related to Export of Petroleum Products" is scheduled to be held on August 2 on Mondays. The course will run for a total of eight hours. It will cover ways of combating the smuggling of petroleum products, directives issued by the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the export of petroleum products, standardization of petroleum products and systems related to the export of petroleum products such as Samen and declaration of petroleum products in the EPL system.

The fourth course titled "Principles of Regulating Trade Contracts With Emphasis on Export Contracts" is scheduled to be held from August 8 on Sundays and Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include negotiations based on legal and contractual approach, forms and terms of international contracts, review of obligations in international contracts, guarantees, force majeure and non-disclosure of information, legal requirements of exports, review of sample export contracts and termination of the contract.

The fifth course titled " Digital Marketing" is scheduled to start as of August 28 on Saturdays and Mondays from 5-8 p.m. Topics to be covered include digital marketing and its concepts, internet marketing, introverted marketing, operational tools for digital marketing, using Google Trends for market research, email marketing techniques and its features and how to work with email marketing panel, content production techniques, definition of Google algorithms, types of digital marketing campaigns and how to design and implement a campaign.

The sixth course titled "Tax Litigation and Billing" is scheduled to be held from August 25 on Saturdays and Mondays from 4-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include pillars of tax procedure, taxation process, procedures and laws of the Court of Administrative Justice, a summary of the code of civil procedure and principles of drafting bills. The course will run for a total of six hours.
