Kashan Exports Surpass $190 Million in 5 Months

EghtesadOnline: Exports from Kashan County of Isfahan Province stood at 222,700 tons worth $191.95 million in the first five months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Aug. 22), registering a 43% and 112% growth in weight and value respectively year-on-year, according to Alimorad Norouzi, an official with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Customs Administration.

Steel, rebar, carpet, cleansers, rosewater, herbal essence, essential oils, wire, kitchen utensils, brake-pads, sanitary ware, water cooler, copper, inorganic chemicals and aluminum were the main exported goods. 

Spain, Britain, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria, Austria, Netherlands, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Japan, China, the UAE, Bahrain, South Africa, Lithuania, Malaysia and Indonesia were the main export destinations, IRNA reported.

Kashan is located in the northern part of Isfahan Province.
