Kermanshah H1 Exports Reach $1.2 Billion

EghtesadOnline: A total of $1.2 billion worth of goods were exported from Kermanshah Province during the first six months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Sept. 22), registering an 11% growth in terms of value compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the head of Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

“Petrochemicals, dairy products, steel, ceramic and tiles, pipes and pipe fittings, tomato paste, canned food and food products were the main exports,” Keyvan Kashefi was also quoted as saying by IRNA.

The official noted that about 40% of Iran’s total exports to Iraq during the period were from Kermanshah Province that also produced nearly 60-70% of exported products.

A total of $500 million from a total of $1.2 billion exports from this province were shipped through Khosravi and Soomar border terminals, each of which registered a respective growth of 150% and 300%.
