TCCIM to Hold Six Business Courses

EghtesadOnline: The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold six specialized business courses in December and January.

The first course titled “Comprehensive Business Skills” is scheduled to be held from Dec. 29. Topics to be covered include basics of international trade, Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS Code), Incoterms 2020, LinkedIn, international transportation, introduction to import/export process, customs and EPL regulations, order registration, international payment methods and trade negotiations. The course will run for a total of 60 hours, the news portal of TCCIM reported.

The “Comprehensive Course on Internal Purchase, Procurement and Contracts Management” is scheduled to be held from Jan. 5 on Saturdays at 4-8 p.m. The course’s components include market management, internal purchasing systems, organizational purchasing concepts and patterns, design and implementation of supplier evaluation and selection system, insurance, transportation and shipping documents, methods of purchasing goods with a focus on bidding and principles and techniques of business negotiations. The attendees will receive a bilingual certificate upon the completion of this course.

The third course titled “Familiarity with New Comprehensive Trade System” is scheduled to be held online on Jan. 10 at 4-8 p.m. Topics to be covered include how to import without a related record, financing methods for manufacturing companies and ways of meeting foreign exchange obligation for exporters.

The fourth course titled “Business Conversations and Correspondence in English” is scheduled to be held from Jan. 11, Saturdays to Tuesdays, at 5-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include business conversation, vocabulary and grammar, listening and speaking skills, business letters and writing letters and emails in English. The course will run for a total of 30 hours.

The fifth course titled “Training Professional Export Experts” is scheduled to be held from Jan. 16. Topics to be covered include analysis of export destination markets, export regulations, exporters’ rights and organizations involved in exports, as well as customs laws and regulations in the field of export.

The sixth course titled “Description of Pro Forma and International Trade Documents” is scheduled to be held on Jan. 16 and Jan. 18 at 4-8 p.m. Topics to be covered include introduction to commercial documents and pro forma, as well as permits required for the clearance of imported and exported goods.
