The results of the survey conducted by the VTB Bank of Russia and the Bank Otkritie Financial Corporation showed that nearly half of the Russian people think Iranian cars can get the trust of Russian customers in the lucrative market of this country.
In this survey, 1,457 citizens, aged between 18 and 65 years, were asked about Iranian cars and how Russians receive them.
According to the survey, only 32 percent of the participants are aware of the possibility of purchasing Iranian cars in the Russian car market while more than two-thirds of the Russians are not aware of the presence of Iranian cars in the country.
It showed that a combination of quality, value and price of the car is among the most important reasons for the attractiveness of Iranian cars for Russian buyers.
Twenty-five percent of the Russians who participated in the survey believe that Iranian cars will get a one- to two-percent share in the Russian market while some participants also predict the share of Iranian cars in the Russian market will reach between three- and five percent by the end of 2024. / Tasnim
