Nematzadeh: 60% growth in mineral exports in Q1
EghtesadOnline: Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh, said on Saturday that 60 percent growth was observed in the mineral exports in the first four months of the current Iranian year.
Nematzadeh told IRNA that 12 percent growth was also observed in export of industrial products in the same period.
'This signifies there will be good steps forward in the current Iranian year,' he added.
The Minister then said the industry sector experienced 5.6 percent growth by March 20, 2015, marking end of the Iranian year of 1393, from minus -10 percent when the 11th government took office.
He said after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), banking relations have resumed and foreign companies have voiced readiness to be present in Iranian economy.
He said that one of the problems of the industry sector is financial restriction and once facilities are provided for the trade deals in the finance and usance forms, the liquidity shortage will be removed.
