Asiatech has signed a deal with local video streaming service provider Filimo that allows Asiatech subscribers to watch videos on Filimo.ir for free, local technology website ICTNA reported. Shatel is offering discount coupons to subscribers in Tehran that can be used to buy goods from online supermarket Rockland.ir. In recent years, landline Internet service providers have been gradually losing market share to mobile operators because the latter offer faster and cheaper services. Promotional campaigns are part of the landline ISPs push to protect and increase their share of the growing online market, Financial Tribune reported.
